I was depressed today to hear that songwriter Lee Hazelwood had died over the weekend. Mr. Hazelwood was best known for writing Nancy Sinatra's hit 'These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" and artists as diverse as Elvis, Nick Cave, and Primal Scream covered his songs but, personally, I love to hear him sing himself...and have had him in pretty much constant rotation on my iPod for the last few months.
